In early 2018 the renewable energy giant, Envision Energy Group acquired a majority stake in the leading Formula E Team, Virgin Racing. As a key supplier of green energy, they saw the importance of establishing a presence within the automotive sector and looked to the performance world of electric street racing as a way to do this.
As Head of Creative for Virgin Racing I was tasked with uniting both brands to form a new identity for the release of the new Gen 2 car ahead of Season 5.

An integral creative element of any motorsport team. Designing a car livery is a deceptively complex process as it involves a huge number of considerations. I wanted to create an iconic design that would form the foundation of the team’s visual identity.
A flat-pack team HQ that travels from race to race. I designed a functional branding scheme designed to integrate seamlessly with both car livery and team kit.
